- Get safe. Move out of traffic if you can. Turn on hazards.
- Call 911. Report injuries and ask for a police report.
- Photos. Cars, plates, the scene, injuries, the other driver’s license and insurance card.
- Witnesses. Names and phone numbers.
- Doctor. Get checked, even if you feel okay. Some injuries show up later.
- Insurance. Report the claim, but don’t give the other driver’s insurer a recorded statement.
- Call 404-500-0000. Free case review.
Deadline: in Georgia, you generally have two years to file an injury lawsuit, but evidence disappears much sooner.
